Located in Arnold, CA, the Calaveras Big Trees forest contains some of the largest and most majestic redwoods you’ll ever find. For pictures from my trip in September 2013, click on the photo below.

For my birthday, I rappelled 165 ft. (16 stories) into Moaning Cavern in Murphy’s. It’s FREE on your birthday, so I celebrated by shimmying down a rock face and hanging in mid-air.
