Fair Oaks Bridge

Linking Gold River with Fair Oaks, the Fair Oaks Bridge was built between 1907-1909. It is now a pedestrian and bicycle bridge with areas to picnic, walking trails, and the American River Bike Trail beneath. For more historical info, visit http://www.fairoakshistory.org/bridge/bridge.htm

Daffodil Hill 2013

Daffodil Hill is located in Amador County, CA (near Sutter Creek). The McLaughlin Family runs the farm and has been growing daffodils since 1877. The amount of blooms has expanded over the years and is now open FREE to the public from mid-March to mid-April. Pack a picnic, bring a camera, and enjoy the day, but be sure to call before heading up there since weather can affect the days they’re open. Visit http://www.suttercreek.org/sutter-creek-events-daffodil-hill-amador-county.html for more info.
